Home should feel like a return to yourself.
Nomdori began with a simple feeling. After spending so much of my working life caring for other people, I wanted home to be the place that restored me.
I am a nurse, and for many years I have worked in busy, demanding clinical environments where so much of the day is centred around the needs of others.
When I came home, I wanted to leave the hospital behind.
Not only the pace of the day, the responsibility and the noise, but even the clinical scents that seemed to follow me home.
I wanted to open my front door and immediately feel a shift in the atmosphere.
I wanted home to smell unmistakably like me. So fragrance became part of that transition.
So lighting a candle and filling a room with a scent I loved or simply taking a few quiet moments became a signal that says:
You are home now.
That feeling became the beginning of Nomdori.
Fragrance that makes home feel like yours
I created Nomdori because I believe our homes should give something back to us. They should be somewhere we can soften, reconnect and feel ourselves again after everything the outside world asks of us, and scent has an extraordinary ability to create that feeling.
Fragrance can change the atmosphere of a room in moments. It can evoke memories, shift a mood and become part of the small rituals that make your everyday life feel more intentional.
So for me, home fragrance has never simply been about making a room smell nice; it is about creating a feeling of belonging, that moment when you walk through the door, recognise the fragrance around you and then think:
This is home.
The Nomdori philosophy
Nomdori is built around quiet rituals for calm living. Not perfection, not an immaculate home and definitely not the idea that we should constantly be doing more.
Put simply, small moments in ordinary days allow us to stop, settle, and enjoy the space we have created around us. It could be lighting a candle after work, refreshing a room before guests arrive or changing the scent of your home with the seasons through discovering a fragrance that somehow feels completely like you.
These moments may be small, but they matter because home should not simply be where life happens; it should be somewhere that restores you for it.

Every Nomdori fragrance is selected with intention.
I am drawn to fragrances with character - scents that create atmosphere without overpowering a room and that you want to return to again and again.
Our candles are made in small batches using coconut and rapeseed wax, alongside a growing collection of room sprays, wax melts and reed diffusers designed to help you layer fragrance throughout your home.
Everything I create is made with the same intention: to make beautiful home fragrance feel like part of everyday living rather than something saved only for special occasions, because the ordinary evening deserves a beautiful scent too.

Nomdori started with something deeply personal: my own need to make home feel different from the world I had spent the day in, but it has grown into something much bigger than that.
Every time someone chooses a Nomdori fragrance for their home, sends one as a gift or tells me that a particular scent has become their scent, I am reminded why I started.
